Just a quick update to let you know what’s going on with the Big Yellow School Bus 4 Jesus! …the black has been painted on the bus this week and today and tomorrow they are going to be working on the yellow paint below the windows! we are so excited to see this finally happening… and so much closer to being able to GO out and do the work that God has called us, all of his children, to do!

Skip has been asked to speak at an event this saturday in new albany, mississippi… there will be a couple of bands are we are going to be allowed to sell our t-shirts, bracelets, and buttons! We are so excited about all of the amazing things that God is doing through us and this ministry. Please be in prayer for the event and all who will be in attendance. :-)

After reflecting on this for several days the only word that I can seem to find so sum up how we can be better, clearer Christ reflectors, is SURRENDER. I mean FULL SURRENDER! I have had to ask a particular friend of mine for some money to cover some expenses for him and each time I have asked him for money he has reminded me..."It’s not mine!" Funny thing is each time I was reluctant of asking him for the money not knowing what his current financial situation is. I am so glad that I have been reminded it’s not mine! I’m just a steward.
Then I had to step outside the bottle I live in and realize...The only thing I own is my salvation. Everything else is His. He has given us things to use for His purpose. He has given us stuff, money, gifts, talents, etc. I once realized the only things in this world that are mine are those things someone can’t take from me. When I hit this revelation I understood that the only thing that no one can take away from me is my Salvation.
With this mind set you are given a great freedom and peace, knowing all you "have" is just a collection of things that you should be giving to Him and others. EVERYTHING! Every LAST Thing! I was blown away when I realized this. We struggle giving Him the “First” things. So will we give ALL we have to Him and others as a reflection of the inner condition of our hearts? I would gladly give the shirt off my back. How gladly would I give my entire outfit? I commit today to do it joyfully.
How great would it be to have surrendered all you have and be fully reliant on Him to be God in our lives. It is our stuff that tells us we are sufficient by our own means. To God be the Glory!
]]>I'm ready to see an avalanche of the Holy Spirit. So I'm standing on a hill with the Word yelling at the top of my lungs expecting to get my friends disturbed a little so they begin to shake and move and together we can begin to build momentum and spill out on all those around us. The Holy Spirit is like rolling banks of snow effecting all those in its presence, covering everything, and changing the landscape!
Let us usher in a move of the Holy Spirit that is like that of an avalanche on a snow capped mountain and yell to the world the Message of a Savior and a King. I pray that we will be ready to lend a hand of love and support when those around us are overcome by the conviction of the Holy Spirit.
It has been recorded that avalanches have been started by a single persons voice. What kind of movement for God could we create if we all spoke up encouraging an avalanche of Love.
Oh and by the way...When the avalanche starts don't run for "the building" for refuge. Those effected by the avalanche will be outside waiting on us!
Lets go Be The Church!
